Is it possible to import the Wattbike files into Training Peaks?

I can get my Garmin data into Training Peaks and it would be very useful to have all workouts in one place for analysis.

Excellent! Will be great to get this as allot of our people are using WKO+ themselves, nice to be able to give them back their data.

HI

The latest version of the software, which can be found at http://wattbike.com/uk/wattbike/downloads/ supports upload to training peaks.

Best regards

Alex

Hi Denis

I don’t think so to be honest but let me speak to our programmers to see what is possible.

Just got my Wattbike.  Also a WKO+ user and would like to be able to export direct to WKO+ without having to use Training Peaks…

Cheers,

Mark

This is probably a question for Training Peaks - we are led to understand that they are not developing WKO as a PC software but concentrating on their online Training Peaks application.

I was also led to believe that the ‘Download from Training Peaks’ function in WKO was not operative and that they weren’t keen to add any more ‘Devices’.

It appears that you are able to transfer files from Training Peaks into WKO is that correct.

We were asked to make sure that Wattbike files could be transferred to Training Peaks - this we have done.

I will write to TP to clarify the situation

We have had a few queries about direct download of Wattbike Expert files into WKO +.

Having clarified the situation with TrainingPeaks I can report:

In the past download capability has been built through the WKO + Device Agent but this is more difficult to do so manufacturers are now relying on the Training Peaks API as a nice workaround.  In our case this means that Wattbike Expert software is the Device Agent with a download facility to TrainingPeaks.

TrainingPeaks has checked things their end and everything appears to be working. Wattbike Expert files uploaded directly to TrainingPeaks can be exported from TrainingPeaks back down to WKO+.

If WKO + customers are having problems exporting from TrainingPeaks they should go to the TrainingPeaks customer support contact page:

http://support.trainingpeaks.com/contact-us.aspx

The process to bulk export data (a Premium Subscription feature) from trainingpeaks.com is outlined here:

http://support.trainingpeaks.com/personal-edition/bulk-download.aspx

Individual workouts can also be downloaded from each day’s workout details.

TrainingPeaks are focusing their attention on developing better analysis and reporting functionality online at this time, but in addition will certainly continue to support WKO+ desktop software.

Hope this helps

Hi Eddie,

So there are no plans to allow the Wattbike software to export data into a file on the host computer that can then be imported directly into WKO+ without using Training Peaks?

I ask as the computer that our 2 Wattbikes are connected to are not attached to the internet, and the room is not wired to allow so to happen.

Is it possible to allow the data to be exported as a .csv file?
