Features

Simple Operation

Operating the Wattbike is very easy. Simply sit on the Wattbike, turn the Wattbike Performance Computer on, from the ‘Main menu’ select ‘Just ride’, press ENTER and start pedaling and the Wattbike Performance Computer will give immediate feedback. The monitor is entirely menu driven which makes its powerful list of features (including: preset workouts, save favorite workouts, ReRide against a previous training sessions or PaceBike, review past workout results) simple to use.

Accurate Tracking of Performance Data

The Wattbike Performance Computer displays: 

• Time 
• Pace [/1km]
• Speed [km/h]
• Energy [Joules]
• Power [Watts]

When plugged into the Wattbike Expert Software there are 29 parameters that can be monitored.

Four Text Modes and Three Graphical Modes 

It is possible to review each training session in four different text modes, showing the data from your session as text including:

• Pace [/1km]
• Speed [km/h]
• Energy [Joules]
• Power [Watts]

It is also possible to review each session in three graphical modes:

•  Polar-Graph (Force Curve)
• Signal-Graph (Force Curve [N])
• Bar-Graph (Speed [km/h], Power [W] and Energy [J])

Logcard

Each Wattbike comes with a removable Logcard which stores workout data and personal preferences, additional Logcards are also available from the Wattbike shop.

Heart Rate Monitoring

The Wattbike Performance Monitor links with ANT+SPORT wireless technology for Heart Rate display, this works with Garmin or Suunto Chest belts (Sunnto chest belts and other heart-rate accessories can be purchased from the Wattbike shop). The coded Polar belts do not work with the Wattbike Performance Computer

Power Generation 

When a user is riding on the bike the power generation module is used to power the monitor and recharge the battery. This module is separate to the power measurement system and therefore does not impact on it. If the bike is used for lots of short sprint sessions the batteries cannot be recharged in the short period of riding, so a charger is included with the Wattbike.

SPD pedals, saddle and water bottle 

All Wattbikes come with reversible SPD and toe-cage pedals and a set of SPD cleats. A Wattbike water bottle and comfort saddle is included in the box. The saddle and pedals are standard fittings can be replaced with any cycling pedals or saddle or the Wattbike racing saddle accessory.

USB Interface

This is used to transfer data to the Wattbike expert software for monitoring, analysis or racing. A USB cable and Wattbike Expert Software CD are included with every bike
