First gaining international plaudits aged just 15, Jazz Carlin is no stranger to success. Despite the buoyant start to her swimming career, a series of injuries and illnesses stopped Jazz reaching the London 2012 Olympics.

Jazz returned to form in 2014 and rose to third in the world rankings, winning gold at the British Championships and Commonwealth Games. Her winning ways continued, storming the 2016 Rio Olympics to win silver in the 400m and 800m freestyle.

Her next challenge? Jazz has her eyes firmly set on the Toyko 2020 Olympics, where she’ll compete in her most recent discipline: 1000m open water.
