Wattbike Open Foundation Workshop | Soho

The very first Wattbike Open Foundation Workshop was held this weekend at Third Space, Soho, where independent PTs and physios gained access to our Master Trainer network for the very first time. Ten individuals with varied backgrounds and interests attended the four-hour workshop, which equipped each attendee with 4 CIMSPA points and foundational knowledge on how to best use the Wattbike for different client cases.

The workshop was run by Lead Master Trainer Adam Daniel, who took participants through the features, benefits and key elements of the Wattbike Pro/Trainer. Individuals were also taught about Polar View, PES, load ratio, testing, and how to programme effectively on a Wattbike. Additionally, workshop attendees discovered how to use the Wattbike for different client cases and learnt about the key maintenance points of the Wattbikes.

Course participants included two cyclists, a few PTs, a boxing coach, a group cycling teacher, a gym owner, and a celebrity trainer. This varied demographic highlights the need for this kind of education, and also shows how the Wattbike is being used - and can be used - for a variety of different sports and purposes.

Adam Daniel says: “overall it was a really successful weekend with lots of positive feedback on social media from attendees. Everyone was very excited to be in such a cool gym, which definitely added to the experience. I look forward to running more open workshops around the country to help educate independents on how they can use the best indoor training tool in the world with a variety of their clients”.

Wattbike will be holding more open workshops across the country later this year. To register your interest for the next one, learn more here.
