Top Swedish ice hockey team adopts Wattbikes
One of Sweden’s top ice hockey teams, Frölunda Indians based in Gothenburg, recently adopted four Wattbike Pro/Trainers into their arsenal to train and test players, and to get them ready for the NHL Combine.
Per Edlund, Frölunda Indians Strength and Conditioning Coach with the new Wattbikes
The team plays in the top Swedish ice hockey league, SHL, and has won the national championship five times; in 1965, 2003, 2005, 2016, and 2019. They are also known for having the highest average home attendance in the league for over a decade.
Wattbike are excited to be supporting Swedish ice hockey and can’t wait to see how the players get on with the Wattbikes.
