Wattbike Limited (“Wattbike”, “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone we interact with whether through our website Wattbike.com (“the Site”) or otherwise. Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how we use and protect the information that you provide to us.

  • If you place an order for goods and when you subsequently submit payment for that order
  • If you request a quotation for goods

  • information you choose to post on our message board or to provide during our interactions with you

We do not request any information that constitutes special category data. Special category data is personal data relating to certain factors such as your health, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, biometric or genetic data or information about political opinions.

  • IT service providers who we use, for example, to host our Site, to manage and maintain the IT systems we use and who help us develop new and improved systems

  • If we sell our business, any prospective purchase
  • Other companies which are part of the group of companies which we may be part of from time to time.

7. Where in the world we will transfer your personal data to 

Your personal data may occasionally be accessed or held by third parties outside the UK and European Economic Area (EEA).

Whereas in the EU and UK, we implement a high standard of data protection law, some parts of the world do not implement such stringent laws. As a result, we will make sure that appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure that it is protected in accordance with UK data protection law regardless of where it is stored or accessed from. These might include:

  • Sending personal information only to countries that the European Authorities have indicated as having adequate data protection laws in place.

  • can request that we don’t send marketing material to you. Every email you receive will include an unsubscribe option
  • have a right to correct any information we hold about you if that information is incorrect or incomplete
  • have the right to access your personal data and to request a copy of it. This is known as a data subject access request
  • can request to have your personal data erased or transferred either to you or a third party in a commonly used format or to have the use of your personal data restricted

You should be aware that these rights are not all absolute and some will only apply in certain circumstances.
