In 2015 the Wattbike was chosen by the UCI World Cycling Centre (WCC) as the training tool to enhance their athlete's performance ahead of the World Championships and Olympics in 2016. With 15 Wattbikes at the UCI WCC headquarters in Aigle, Switzerland and others placed in UCI satellite centres around the world, the Wattbike performs a key role in training and testing pro-athletes, in addition to talent identification for Junior and U23 athletes.
Our partnership with the UCI stretches further than the World Cycling Centre, however, with the introduction of Team Wattbike at the popular track event - the Revolution Series. Team Wattbike is made up of UCI development riders like Eoin Mullen and Flavio Cipriano and it aims to give them a taste of the the competitive track scene in the UK, to help them prepare for the challenges of their future.Discover how we're developing future stars with the UCI WCC
