Watts Lab Madrid
Indoor training, outdoor results
Watts Lab Spain opened in Madrid in January 2018, after owner David Noguera saw a need to provide a space which catered for cyclists at any level, and for any type of cycling. From this, Watts Lab was born, and they integrate resistance and strength training with a very clear motto: “Indoor training, outdoor results”.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Physical Activity and Sports, and a Master’s in High Performance in Endurance Sports, so he decided to feature Wattbikes in the Watts Lab studio because he wanted professional equipment that was 100% associated with cycling. The Wattbikes were chosen for the studio because of their accurate data and durability.
“The goal was to make high performance devices available for any cyclist of any level. Data analysis is critical for us. It’s a great way we can record all the cycling data with the Wattbike app and export it directly to Training Peaks.”

The studio currently offers members training sessions on five Wattbike Pro/Trainers and two Wattbike Atoms, where members are given personalised training zones to make sure the training is adapted to each individual. At Watts Lab, the Wattbikes have proven incredibly popular with the cycling enthusiasts of Madrid, which shows promise of a great future for this innovative cycling studio.
