50 Mile Sportive Training Plan 

Whether you are aiming to complete your first sportive, or achieve a particular time, the 50 mile sportive plan will help you achieve your goal.  

The 50 mile sportive plan uses a polarised training model which incorporates a strength, threshold and endurance phase designed to progress your fitness and training. Your training workload will progress by roughly 11% week on week throughout the training plan, increasing in intensity and duration as you progress. The biggest training load will come in week 10 before a 2-week taper, which will allow you to recover and maintain fitness ready for your event.

100 Mile Sportive Training Plan 

Completing your first century ride this year? The 100 mile sportive training plan will be your perfect partner. 

The 100 mile sportive plan follows the same polarised model as the 50 mile sportive plan, which is designed to progress your training and fitness. Throughout this plan you will see your workload progress by roughly 11% week on week, increasing in intensity and duration as you progress. The biggest training load will come in week 10 before a 2-week taper, which will allow you to recover and maintain fitness ready for your event.
