Joanna Rowsell-Shand’s Cycling Time Trial Training Plan

In a cycling time trial, every second counts, so we’ve partnered with World and Olympic Champion Joanna Rowsell-Shand to develop the 10 Mile Cycling Time Trial Plan.  

This time trial training plan includes sessions that are used regularly by Joanna, plus a couple which helped her become British National Time Trial Champion in 2013. 

Consistent TT training will improve your stability, core strength and accelerate your adaptation to TT position (a specific aerodynamic position), which will be different from what you’re used to for sportives. While TT’s can be extremely challenging, the training sessions for them will accelerate your heart rate and give you that inner satisfaction of achieving the impossible.
