Our first competition launches on 3rd May for the Giro, don't forget to sign up and complete at least 2 of the Giro-themed workouts!

From long escapes to quick spins, from adventurous bikepacking to leisurely pub rides, or testing your limits in ultra-endurance challenges—every winter training session has led to this. As the summer breeze flows through your helmet, remember the indoor sessions that paved the way. 


Structured training brings immense fitness benefits, but executing it effectively on the road can be challenging. This summer, we relaunch and revamp the Wattbike Summer Sessions—your gateway to a constantly evolving selection of incredible workouts, challenges and prizes. Tailored to complement the outdoor sporting calendar, we ensure your fitness peaks with the season.


Even if you're fitting in just one or two Wattbike workouts a week, choose the Summer Sessions. Designed to keep your fitness thriving all summer long, each session is an opportunity to enhance your endurance, power, and overall cycling performance.

WATTBIKE SUMMER SESSIONS LINEUP

BENCHMARK YOUR FITNESS

Week 1 is all about setting your benchmarks. Where do you stand right now?


To measure your current fitness levels, choose from a Health Assessment, Ramp Test, Submax Test, or a quick 30-second sprint, all available for free in the 'Tests' category on our Wattbike Hub App.


WEEK 1-2: THE GIRO

The Giro starts on Saturday 4th May, so we're celebrating by bringing a whole host of Giro-themed content to the Wattbike Hub.


We've got new workouts written by Wattbike Ambassador and former pro cyclist Alex Dowsett, winner of stage 8 at the 2013 & 2020 Giro d'Italia. 


And it's your chance to win a 1-1 Training Plan from Alex, tailored to your time, ability and goals. Simply sign up above, and complete at least 2 of the new Giro workouts in the Wattbike Hub before the end of May. 

WEEK 2-4 

RUGBY CHAMPIONS

The Champions Cup and Challenge Cup both kick off on the weekend of the 25 May bringing the season to an end, to celebrate we're bringing a whole host of Rugby-themed workouts to the Wattbike Hub as part of the Summer Sessions.


We've got workouts written and used by professional rugby players and coaches that will improve aerobic efficiency, VO2 Max and all-around fitness levels. Wattbikes are used across elite rugby teams such as England Rugby for fitness testing, performance progression, rehabilitation and recovery.


And it's your chance to win one of five pairs of tickets to the Leicester Tigers final home game of the season against Exeter Chiefs on 18 May 2024. Simply sign up to the Summer Sessions, and complete at least 2 of the new workouts in the Wattbike Hub before Thursday 16 May. 

WEEK 5

THE FRENCH OPEN

The French Open is just around the corner, and to celebrate, we're introducing a series of tennis-themed workouts to the Wattbike Hub as part of our Summer Sessions.


Get ready to enhance your game with workouts designed by professional tennis players and coaches, aimed at improving your ability to maintain moderate intensities for longer periods of time.

T20 CRICKET

Wattbikes are used at cricket clubs across the world because of the many benefits of off-feet conditioning.

WEEK 7

RACE ACROSS AMERICA

As 11th June approaches, the cycling world turns its eyes to the Race Across America (RAAM), one of the most gruelling endurance challenges on the planet. This year, the anticipation is particularly high as British cyclist James Golding returns to the race with a bold mission: to become the first British rider to win RAAM. James's story is one of unparalleled resilience, determination, and an unyielding spirit that has inspired countless individuals around the world.

WEEK 8

THE EUROS

It's time for the largest football competition in Europe! This weekend we're celebrating with a whole host of football-inspired workouts on the Wattbike Hub App as part of the Summer Sessions. Workouts written and used by professional football players and coaches will improve aerobic capacity, recovery from sprint intervals and all-around fitness. Wattbikes are used across elite football teams such as Manchester City & Arsenal for fitness testing, performance progression, rehabilitation and recovery.

WEEK 9-10

THE TOUR
